It should have been Malta, not Dubrovnik.
At least that was the plan, back in the summer of 2008.
My boyfriend back then (now husband) proposed a seaside getaway for the two of us. And, since we were pretty late with our summer vacation planning, we decided to employ the help of a travel agency, that would offer us some options.
While we walked the streets in downtown Timisoara, his eyes fell on a Malta presentation. Hmmm, interesting .. history, gorgeous sights, sea.
We were sold.
Chance has it that our target travel agency was closed, so we went back home and decided to try the ole mighty Booking.com, as we did have an internet connection and were able to do some searches ourselves.
